FAQ

How does oxygen help you with sport and exercise?

During periods of high intensity physical activity our bodies work hard to maintain blood oxygen levels. When heavy breathing does not produce enough oxygen, the body will begin to source the oxygen internally through a process known as Anaerobic Respiration. Cramping and muscle fatigue when the glycogen in oxygen-starved blood transforms into lactic acid. By introducing more oxygen, the blood can inhibit the production of lactic acid and expel any existing lactic.

How many inhalations are in a can?

It all depends on how deeply you breathe in. Our 118ml cans contain approximately 45-50 inhalations and our 650ml cans with a connected mask contain approximately 120-150 inhalations. Some individuals take normal 1 second breaths, others take longer 3 or more second inhalations. It’s a matter of personal preference.

How much Boost Oxygen should I use?

This depends on your circumstances, body weight, type, etc.

If you are working out in the gym and want to recover quickly between sets, 2- 3 inhalations should be sufficient between sets. The case is the same for stress and ‘second wind’ applications. If you are really hungover or jet lagged, you may need more than this.

The attractive benefit to oxygen is that the effects are fairly immediate – oxygen is admitted into the blood stream directly, so you should be able to gauge after the 3-5 inhalations if you need any more.

Is oxygen flammable?

No. Oxygen gas alone is not flammable, contrary to popular belief – (otherwise our 20.9% oxygenated atmosphere would have burned up a long time ago!). Oxygen is not a fuel itself, but when combined with a fuel and ignition, it can serve to accelerate the chemical reaction.

What are the instructions for use?

For 118ml cans, remove tamper-evident plastic and remove cap. Place up to mouth, press trigger firmly and inhale deeply. For 650ml cans, place mask under nose and over mouth. Press trigger down to activate flow. Breathe deeply through the mouth.

"I love spending time outdoors and especially love long distance running (cross country)! I’ve been introduced to the product “Boost Oxygen”, and I can confirm that after using it, I experienced positive results after the first dose. I had much more energy during my run and definitely had more endurance and I did not experience any side effects. I am also currently working 12 hour shifts for a while to meet a deadline, which are quite a challenge for me for not being used to the long hours.  After using the product it gives me energy and I can easily complete my work without feeling tired.  “Boost Oxygen”  is easy and fast to use.  The packaging is light weighted which makes it easy to carry around in my bag. To me “Boost Oxygen” is affordable in relation with other energy products on the market. I am very satisfied with the product and will definitely recommend it.”
